Turned the threaded finial in ebony, work out well! Few shakes started opening up in the beech though, but hopefully with a bit of glue should be fine (wood still a bit damp). Thinking about turning an ebony base to add to the bottom. Tomorrow will finish sand, part off and spray lacquer…should come up quite nice!
